BARBERSHOP COMPETITION Oct. 13-16

Good ole a capella! It was very exciting to be on stage again! Complete with the old guys and lots of new, younger singers! This year, Fresno held the annual International competition. Thirty three quartets from around the world and 29 choruses filled the venue with their best vocal skills. This was the first year that both chorus and quartets could be MIXED and our very own "Motley Q" got a fourth place medal. YEA. There were twelve judges- three in each category- music, performance and singing. Our chorus got SECOND in performance- an audience favorite. Unfortunately we did not make the International cut but fun was not missed by anyone. And the parties afterward went on into the wee hours of the next morning.
