GO USA...Vancouver Competition

June 24-26. WOW what a wonderful and exciting experience. We visited Vancouver a day ahead of the

race and rented bicycles. Took in several miles around Stanley Park and the competition site. The weather was wonderful. There were over 200 teams and several countries from around the world. And the San Diego Dragon Boat Team brought home a GOLD medal. That is no easy feat to accomplish. I actually didn't win a medal from the division I was in but our A division team did it for all of us! Very, very exciting weekend.
