11TH ANNUAL SAN DIEGO INTERNATIONAL DRAGON BOAT RACE IS ON!!!

September 23-24 right here in Tecolote Park....we started with the Monk Seal Blessing. Counting over 40 teams registered and fighting for the coveted gold medal. The race began with percision, excitiment and music. Early on, one boat tipped over and by the end of the second half.....two more tipped over making for a very exciting day of racting. Due to increasingly high winds, it was decided that for the finals, a change of boats to the larger 20 person, would be safer. FUN. FUN. FUN. GREAT WEATHER, GREAT DAY.
